ArcCatalog Tools

Several Lucity tools are available within ArcCatalog to help set up the GIS configuration and manage Lucity GIS data.

These tools enable the user to:

• configure the geodatabase feature classes with Lucity modules;
• configure the Show in Map tool for multiple users;
• configure which fields appear in the data grids when a user creates a Work Order/ Req/inspection in ArcMap;
• pull data from Lucity to update linked geodatabase fields;
• control which features can be shown in the map; and
• perform quality checks against a feature class.

How To Run an ArcCatalog Tool

1. In ArcCatalog, click on and select the desired tool. (If the Lucity GIS Tools button is not visible, right-click within a toolbar and select Lucity GIS 20.3 from the menu.)
2. The login screen appears. Enter a Lucity username and password.

   

   Note: The login screen does not appear if Lucity Windows Authentication is configured for the current user.

3. If the username and password are valid, the client selection screen appears. Select a client from the list.

   

   Note: The client selection screen does not appear if an organization has a single client.

4. Once this process has been completed within an ArcCatalog session, it does not have to repeated until ArcCatalog is closed and reopened.
