Editing
The Editing tools allow users to add new features to the map, edit existing features, and deleting features.
Note: Merges, splits, renumbering and deletions must still be done in ArcGIS Pro using the special Lucity Tools.
Requires the GIS > GIS WebMap > GIS Feature Editing permission.

Select to open the Edit dialog.

Select Add Feature. The dialog will display the list of editable layers in the map.

Select a location within the map.

For a point, select a location in the map.

For a line, select a location in the map to begin the line and select another location to finish the section and start a new one. Double-click to end the line.

For a polygon, select a location in the map to begin a side. Then, select another location to end a side and start a new one. Double-click to automatically end the polygon.

After ending the drawing, the Attributes window appears:

Enter the attributes. If this is an Asset that should sync to EAM, the Common ID (Facility Number) must be provided.

When complete, select Add. The feature will be added to the map.

Select to open the Edit dialog.
- Select Edit Feature and then select on a feature in the map to edit.
To move the feature, select the middle of it and drag it to a new location.
To resize the feature, using the control points around the box.
To rotate the feature, use the control point on the line that protrudes from the box.
To change the shape of the feature, select the grey dot on the features. The vertices will appear.
Select and drag the Blue Vertices to change the shape.
Select the grey vertices to make a new blue vertex at that point.
- Select Update when complete.

Select to open the Edit dialog.

Select Edit Feature and then select a feature in the map to edit.
- Use the fields to change the attributes.
- Select Update when complete.

Select to open the Edit dialog.

Select Edit Feature and then select a feature in the map to edit.
- Select Delete at the bottom of the list of attributes.
