Form Manager
The UI Management's Form Manager enables administrators and authorized users to manage forms and to open Form Designer to create and edit forms.
Requires the following permissions to access this section:
- Admin > Lucity App Admin > Run
- Lucity Web > Allowed to Access Admin Portal
- Lucity Web > Allowed to Design Views and Forms
Note: The tools in this section were previously located in the Lucity Administration Tool application.

Open Admin Portal > UI Management > Form Manager.
This tool requires the Admin > Lucity App Admin > Run permission.
- Select a Module and Module Component to identify which module and grid you want to add the form.

Select the Add New button. The following pop-up appears:

Enter a Name for the form and select OK. The Form Designer opens:
- Modify the form as desired.
- Select .
Method 1
- Open Admin Portal > UI Management > Form Manager.
- Select a Module from the picklist.
- Select a Module Component from the picklist to identify the specific form you want to edit.
- Select the desired form record.
- Select the Edit button. The Form Designer opens.
- Modify the form as desired.
- Select .
- Close the form by selecting the X on its application tab, or select the and select Exit Design Mode. The Form Designer closes.
Method 2
- Open the module view for which you want to edit a form.

Navigate to the grid the form is attached to and select next to a record to open it.
Tip: You can open any record in the grid to edit that grid's record design.
- Select the and select Enter Design Mode. The Form Designer opens.
- Modify the form as desired.
- Select .
- Select the and select Exit Design Mode. The Form Designer closes.
