Attributes Tab

The Attributes tab stores details about the breakage as well as repair information. This tab has fields to record the general location of the pipe break along with the specific pipe depth. Other fields are provided to record physical attributes of the pipe and soil conditions, as well as the type and cause of the break itself.

Pipe Attribute fields

If the Update Main Break with Pipe Inventory Record Info option is turned on in the Water Options module, the pipe attribute information will be carried over from the Pipe Inventory module when the Pipe Number is selected in the header. This includes the pipe's surface type, pipe depth, diameter, and material.

Work Order #

This field allows you to indicate the work order number associated with the repair. To enter a work order number in this field, either:

Use the F5 function to enter the first work order number listed in the WO grid on the WO/Req tab, or
Manually type in any pre-existing number from the Work Orders module.

While the WOs tab displays work orders generated directly from this Mainbreak record, this field allows users to associate any other existing work order. The Relationship button displays both types of associated Work Orders.

In the example below, there is a listing for "Work Orders - Tab 1". This refers to the work order # listed in this field. The listings for "Related WO - Standard" and "Related WO - Lite" refer to the work orders found on the WOs tab.
