License Types Tab

States require that backflow testing companies have up-to-date licenses to perform backflow tests. This tab contains a grid tracking all licenses held by the testing company.  You can view more detailed information about a license by Right-clicking on the record and selecting View Record.

To add a license record, complete the following steps:

1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:

   

2. Include a unique License ID. 

   Note:  This is a required field; you must populate this field in order to save the record.

3. Select a License Type from the user-defined pick list.
4. Indicate the license expiration date. 

   Note:  If you choose to have the system validate licenses for your backflow tests, this field must be populated.  To enable this validation, the "BF Tests - Validate Company Licenses and Test Kits" option in Water Options must be turned on.

5. Indicate the license status and status date.
6. Include any comments in the text- box provided.
7. Click to save the record.
8. Click to exit Add Mode.
9. Click to close the window.
