The first attribute tab records general street step inspection information. In this tab, you can record date and crew information, a future date for the next inspection, and the overall condition. Additionally, there are user-defined condition fields that allow you to create your own caption and evaluation codes.
While in the edit mode, you can enter your own caption by clicking on an undefined button, selecting Caption, and entering a new caption in the screen that appears below:
Then, save your changes. To enter a condition code and related description, click on your newly defined button and select Add. You can enter a code and description in the screen that appears below:
Click OK, and your new code appears in the "pick list" below:
You can define other captions and codes as needed. By using this feature, your record can contain any information you would like to track for your step inspections.
Note: In order to save your changes to this record, the Inspection Date field must be filled in.
