States require that backflow testers are certified in the acceptable practices for testing and periodic inspection of backflow prevention devices. This ensures that the public water system is adequately protected. The Water Backflow Testers module stores certification and contact information about individual testers.

To access the Backflow Testers module, select Water > Backflow Preventers > Backflow Testers and the following window will appear.
