Smoke Tests Tab

The Smoke Tests tab has several fields to provide quick information about the most recent inspection and a grid with a list of all inspections for the sewer pipe.  The records in this grid come from the Smoke Testing module.

Smoke Date

The date from the most recent Smoke Testing record.

Smoke Result

The overall result of the Smoke Test (i.e. positive, suspect, negative).

Smoke Flow

The total flow in gallons per minute observed during the Smoke Test.

In addition, this tab contains at grid that lists all of the Smock Test records for this particular pipe.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) will appear signifying ascending or descending order.

How To

Add a Smoke Test

  1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The Smoke Test module will open up to a new record.
  2. Fill out the Date Inspected. This is required. The US Structure, DS Structure, and Alt Pipe ID are also required, but are filled out automatically when adding records this way.
  3. Fill out any other desired fields.
  4. Save and close
  5. The Smoke Test record will show up in the grid.
