This section contains the Sewer Inspection modules. Below, we've identified the basic relationships between the Sewer Inventory and Sewer Inspection modules. Follow the links at the bottom of the screen for detailed information.
Module Relationships
You can create multiple inspections for each sewer inventory asset; however, you can only create one record of each type on any given day.
For sewer pipes, you can create TV Inspections, PACP Pipe Inspections, Line Lamping Inspections, and/or Smoke Testing Inspections.
For Lamping Inspections, you may have one inspection from the US manhole and one from the DS manhole on the same date. If you lamp a manhole with three pipes coming in or out of it and look at all three pipes, you could create an individual lamping inspection record for each pipe.
For TV Inspections, you may record one inspection going in each direction of a pipe on any one day.
You can create multiple observations for each TV Inspection, Line Lamping, and Smoke Testing record. These indicate individual defects identified during the inspection process.
You can create records with general information regarding flow isolation tests and associate to each the specific pipes that were isolated in the test.
For sewer structures, you can create Structure Inspections and/or MACP Manhole Inspections.
For sewer service laterals, you can create Service Lateral Inspections.
For sewer pump stations, you can create Pump Station Inspections.
You can create multiple readings records for each pump station; however, each reading must have a unique date & time combination. A history of all readings recorded will be stored with each asset.
For sewer pumps, you can create Pump Inspections.
You can create multiple readings records for each pump; however, each reading must have a unique date & time combination. A history of all readings recorded will be stored with each asset.
You can associate multiple warranties with each pump, as well as each pump component.
You can create Building Inspections identified by address. Many Building Inspections may be associated with a single address from the Customer Address module.
The Building Observations module stores observations about external sources on a Building Inspection. There can be many observations associated with each Building Inspection.
Each Building Inspection can be associated with multiple sump pump inspections.
