This tab allows you to associate your door with a room and building from the Facility Rooms and Building modules. To link your door to a room, click the Room Rec ID button or press F9 while your cursor is in the Room Rec ID field. This opens the Rooms pick list. Once you select a Room Record ID, the system automatically fills the corresponding Room ID, Room Name, Bldg Rec ID, Building ID, and Building Name.
Note: The Room Rec ID is required in order to save the record.
Additionally, this tab allows you to record general information about the door in this record. Among other things, you can indicate the door type, fire rating, finish, size, frame, hinge, locking device, cylinder information, and cylinder replacement date.
