The PO Receipts Details grid lists specific details of the purchase orders that were entered in the Items tab. From here you can modify those details, populate a location (or change the default location), and enter the amount received.
Note: Once a PO is complete (i.e. the full order has been received), you will be unable to edit details.
To modify PO details, complete the following steps:
Highlight a listing in the PO Receipt Dates grid. The PO Receipt Detail records available will vary based on the highlighted date listing.
Right click on a part listing in the PO Receipt Details grid and select View Record or Edit Record. The following window will open:
The part ID and the vendor part ID are carried over from the Items tab.
Edit the vendor quantity and unit cost. These fields are useful if the vendor packages the parts differently from the way you store them.
Edit the part quantity and part unit cost. These fields allow you to differentiate your part quantity/packaging and unit cost from the vendor's.
The total cost is auto-calculated upon populating the Qty and Cost fields; however, it can be modified.
Select a new location ID from the pick list and the warehouse ID field will be automatically populated with the warehouse that is associated with that location.
