At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

Contact ID |
This field is automatically entered by the system with a database generated number. this number uniquely identifies the customer in the record. |
Contact No. |
This field allows you to enter your own unique, alphanumeric ID for the customer. |
Name |
The Name fields house the first and last name of the customer. Note: At least one of the name fields must be populated before a record can be saved. |
Note: If you have duplicate Contact records, you can now use the F8 key (while in Edit mode) and merge the two records together.
