General tab

This tab tracks some general information about the waste disposal. At the top are fields to track things like the amoung, fee, and sample measurements. At the bottom of the tab is a grid to link pumpouts to the disposal record.

Special Function Field

Facility Pumpouts Associated to this Truck's Load grid

This grid contains allows users to pumpout records to the disposal record. A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in each grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow will appear signifying ascending or descending order. The functions in the grid allow user to view, add, edit, or delete the record.

• Right - click in the grid to Link non-linked Pumpouts for Vehicle.
• Right - click on an existing record to Remove Pumpout Link.

  Note: While the View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record, options are shown, they are disabled in this grid.

How To

• Link non-linked Pumpouts for Vehicle
  1. Right - click in the Facility Pumpouts Associated to this Truck's Load grid.
  2. Select Link non-linked Pumpouts for Vehicle. The following picklist will appear

     

     Note: This list only displays pumpouts associated to the vehicle selected in the Vehicle Number field. It also only lists pumpout records that are NOT already associated to a waste disposal record.

  3. Click on a pumpout record and click Select.
  4. A record will be added to the grid.
  5. Add as many records as apply.
• Remove Pumpout Link

  Select the record to remove in the grid

  Right - click on the record and select Remove Pumpout Link.

  The records link will immediately be removed from the waste disposal record.

Comments Tab

This tab (or grid) contains a large text field where users can enter additional notes.  While in Add or Edit mode, click in the grid and begin typing.  This field has copy/paste abilities, carriage returns <Ctrl + Enter>, and a spell checker that when turned on will underline misspelled words as they are typed.
