Multiple Client Environment: SQL or Oracle

In a multiple client environment where all platforms are SQL or Oracle (not Access), the desktop will automatically try to log the user into the system with the last client they logged in as. If the desktop cannot automatically login using that client, the standard Lucity login screen will be displayed. This allows users to select a client and enter their Lucity user name and password. Once the Lucity login screen is displayed, it is not possible to login via Windows Authentication.

An administrator can set up shortcuts that will allow users to login to more than one client using Windows Authentication regardless of which client was previously selected. The shortcuts should be set up as follows:
