Search Tolerance

In order to use the Open Module tool, you'll need to set a 'selection tolerance'. This determines how close you need to be to a feature in the map before the Open Module tool will recognize it or select it. To set the search tolerance, complete the steps below:

1. Select the Open Module tool from the toolbar.
2. Login to Lucity GIS if prompted.
3. Press Shift + F7 on the keyboard. This opens the dialog below:

   

4. Enter the new search tolerance (in pixels) in the field provided.
5. Click OK.

   Note: The default search tolerance is 3 pixels.
