The Project Invoice > Purchase Order's Details grid enables you to track invoice line items and link them to PO line items.
Details grid
The Project Invoice > Purchase Orders > Details grid displays Details related to a Purchase Order on a Project Invoice.

How to add Details to a Project Invoice > Purchase Order
- In the Work > Project Management > Project Invoices module, click the to expand the desired Project Invoice.
- In the Purchase Orders grid, click the to expand the Purchase Order to which you want to add a line item Detail record.
- Click Add in the Details grid. A new record opens.
- A Line Item number will auto-populate but can be changed. This is required and must be unique.
- The PO Number will auto-populate and cannot be changed.
- Select a PO Item Number. This is required and must be unique. Options in this list are limited to the Details on the linked PO.
- Enter a Product Description.
- Enter a PO Unit Cost.
- Select a Unit of Measure.
- Enter the following:
- Invoice Units
- Invoice Total Cost
- Remaining Units
- Remaining Total Cost
- Click Save . The new record appears in the Project Invoice > Purchase Orders > Details grid with the following fields populated from the linked PO:
- PO Units
- PO Total Cost
- Previous Units
- Previous Total Cost
