Special Function: Average Cost

When Parts are removed from Inventory using the Average cost method, the Quantity will be deducted from the oldest active (in green) Part History record's Current Quantity column (in blue). The unit price associated with the Parts removed will be the Avg. Cost (in yellow) from the History record that the Quantity was pulled from.

Collects the Current Quantity and current Average Cost for each existing Active Part History record. (shaded in green)
Collects the Original Quantity and Cost Unit for the newly added Active Part History record. (shaded in orange).
Collects the Current Quantity for each Active Part History record, both existing and new. (*)
Performs the following calculation
New Average Cost = ((Sum(Current Quantity*Average Cost)) + (New Quantity * New Cost per Unit)) / (Sum(Current Quantity))

Example: New Average Cost = (6 x 39.5) + (15 x45) / (6+15)
Uses the New Average Cost to update the Average Cost for each Active Part History record.
Note: Active Part History records have a Current Quantity > 0.
