The Edit Tab Order tool enables administrators to control the order that the cursor will cycle through fields when a user presses the Tab key. Using tab to move between fields can greatly increase data entry speed. When this tool is used a box will appear over the field to display the tab order of the field.
Selection Colors
When a field is selected it is highlighted in blue.
The field that comes before the selected field in the tab order is highlighted in orange.
The field that follows the selected field in the tab order is highlighted in green.

When a new field is added to the form it is also inserted into the tab order.
By default new fields are added at the bottom of the form and the field is added to the end of the tab order.
When using the buttons to insert a field into the form the added field will automatically be inserted into the tab order or the fields.
When a field is moved to a new location in the form the tab order is not updated.
Edit Options
Administrators can change the tab order in several ways.
Individual - Field order is set for a single field.
Series - Field order is set starting at a selected field and then continued through other fields clicked in the desired order.
Reset Tab Order - All fields on the form are reordered.
