The Grouped PM Exclusion Days grid enables you to exclude individual days or seasons from a particular Grouped PM Schedule. Exclusion Days records in this grid only affect this PM.
This grid is an appendage to the Work Flow Setup Exclusion Days module; therefore, any excluded days in that module do not need to be replicated in this grid. However, you can use this grid to counteract exclusions listed in the Work Flow Setup Exclusion Days module.
Grouped PM Exclusion Days
The Grouped PM Exclusion Days grid enables you to exclude individual days or entire seasons from a particular PM Schedule.
Important: The Grouped PM Exclusion Days grid is only used for Grouped and Grouped Asset PMs.
This feature is used to exclude individual days from a Grouped PM. For instance, if you don't need Work Orders for a PM Template generated on Saturdays, you could use this grid to exclude all Saturdays from the schedule.

Click the to expand the PM/Template record that contains the desired PM Group.
In the PM Group grid, click the to expand the record to which you want to add Exclusion Days.
In the PM Grouped PM Exclusion Days grid, click the Toolkit and select Add New Exclusion Day. The PM Grouped Exclusion Days form opens.
Select a day of the week from the picklist.
If you need to exclude more than one day, you will need to create a separate Exclusion record for each day.
This feature is used to exclude entire periods of time during the year from a Grouped PM. For example, you may want PMs for mowing generated only from May to October every year. Therefore, you would want to set up exclusions for the other months of the year.
Additionally, the system will update exclusion days or date ranges to be applied to each year.
Note: Dates rolled over are static. Any rolling dates such as holidays whose date changes yearly (President's Day, Labor Day, etc.) will require you to create a new record each year specific to that year's date.

Select the Seasonal option. *This step is required in order to make you selected days/dates roll over each year on this Grouped PM.
Click Save . The record appears in the grid and will update each year to apply to this Grouped PM.
