The Work Requests module includes a Notifications function that enables agencies to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders via email about Requests.
The system can be configured to send certain Notifications automatically. For example, Lucity can generate messages to thank the customer for contacting the agency or to notify the customer when the work is complete. It can also alert a supervisor about a new Request related to his or her area. If a user does not want to send an automatic Notification for a specific Request, the user can opt to override the Notification.
Other Notifications can be sent manually, as needed.
Users can also use the Notification function to track communications that were made outside the Lucity system about the Request.
