Web Map Print Setup

The Print tool allows users to export their current map view into a file format of their choosing.

Requirements

• Requires an ArcGIS 10.4+ Print Service.
• The printing service must have access to the services users want to print. If services are hosted on a local intranet server, users cannot use the Print function provided in ArcGIS Online. Users must use a local service instead.
• The server hosing ArcGIS Server must have TLS 1.2 enabled.

How To Set Up Web Map Printing

1. Copy or write down the ArcGIS Print Service REST URL.

   Example: https://arcgis.example.net/server/rest/services/Utilities/PrintingTools/GPServer

2. In the Lucity Administration Tool, select GIS > GIS Services.
3. On the Utility Services tab, locate the Printing Services section. Enter the ArcGIS Print Service REST URL here.

   

4. Add /Export%20Web%20Map%20Task to the end of the URL.

   Example: https://arcgis.example.net/server/rest/services/Utilities/PrintingTools/GPServer/Export%20Web%20Map%20Task

5. If the service is secured, check the Service is Secure? box. The program will use the credentails associated with the first service listed on the Map Services tab.
