Add the report to CRE by putting it in the folder you configured to hold Lucity Reports.
View the CRE report's properties and copy down the CUID.
If the report does not exist in Lucity, open the module the report will be run from and add the report to Lucity. The name of the report must match in both systems.
The name must match for Auto report lookup; matching names also streamlines the process of setting up Manual report lookup.
In Lucity select the report and click the Edit button.
Check the Run this report from Crystal Enterprise box.
In the Crystal Enterprise CUID field, enter the CUID collected in Step 2.
Note: This option appears only if the System Settings > Crystal Enterprise > How reports are selected to run in Enterprise setting is set to Auto or Manual.
The following screen appears:
Enter the User Name and Password for a CRE user who has access to all of the Lucity reports stored in CRE.
Click the Populate Lucity CUID from Crystal Enterprise Server button. The program searches the folder holding Lucity Reports in CRE and attempts to match them by name to reports in the Lucity system.
When Lucity matches a report by name, it copies over the CUID from CRE to the Crystal Enterprise CUID field on the report record in Lucity.
