Lucity's Sign Library and Sign Inventory modules include a special field that displays a sample image of the type of sign represented in the record. Because the Sign Library can be customized with an agency's own images, administrators must establish a repository within the agency's document hive for the custom sign images.
Lucity Library Images
Sign Library images are stored on an agency's web server in the following location. These images appear in the Library without the need for additional setup.
Create a folder that will contain your custom sign images.
This folder is typically called SignLibrary and located within an agency's document hive folder.
Check the Lucity Document Server permissions. (If you placed your SignLibrary folder in your Document Hive, this step may be unnecessary because the document server should already have the required permissions.)
Check the permissions on the SignLibrary folder to confirm that the Windows user under whom the Lucity Document Server is running has Read/Write/Modify permission.
Check the permissions on the share used to access the SignLibrary folder to confirm that the Windows user under whom the Lucity Document Server is running has Change/Read access.
Open Lucity Web and click the button to open the Admin Portal.
Go to Settings > System Settings.
In the drop-down at the top of the screen, select Documents.
