Report Notifications
Lucity's Report Notifications feature enables agencies to set up default Work Order and Request reports that automatically print out. Such reports may be sent either to a designated printer or the default printer for the computer triggering the notification. Settings established in the Work modules control when the notification is triggered.
Considerations
Should this report go to a specific printer or to the default printer for the workstation that triggers the notification? Is this report for a Request or a Work Order ?
Open the System Configuration > Notifications module. Click the Notification Setup form appears. Enter a unique title for the notification in the Notification Label field. (This is the name that will appear in relevant module pick-lists.) Select Report to Printer as the Notification Type. Select the module in which this Notification will be used.Note: The Report to Printer Notifications will only work with Work Order and Request Notifications specifically based on Tasks and Problems .
Type a printer name into the Printer field.Note: the Recipient List and Subject fields are grayed out, as they do not apply to this type of Notification .
Select a report from the Request Report pick-list and/or the Work Report pick-list.Note: The report pick-lists come directly from the Request and Work Order modules. A report can be selected from both pick-lists.
Click the Printer Notification.
