Lucity's Work > Utility Locates modules help an agency log and track utility location services related to the work it performs. These services require an employee or contractor to visit the location of future digging to mark buried utility lines for power, telecommunication, gas, water, sewer, etc.
Users can connect Utility Locate records to Work Orders and Work Requests to show their relationship.
In addition to the main module, Lucity's Utility Locate group also includes the following setup modules:
Utility Members - Creates a directory of the utility providers or departments that an agency works with regularly.
Checklist Setup - Establishes standard checklists of actions technicians must complete for different types of utility location services. Users can later load these lists into individual Utility Locate records.
Violation Setup - Determines the options users have for documenting violations related to utility location services. Violations may occur when technicians or contractors cause property damage while performing location services.
