Work Water Loss

Work Water Loss records document the types and quantities of water loss, as well as logistical details about the event, including police and witness information. This data is invaluable in developing water loss policies, reducing losses, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Note: Lucity offers a separate Water Loss module with different features/functions in its Water module suite, along with a special module for tracking Water Main Breaks.

Open the Work Water Loss module.
Click Add button. A new record will open.
Enter the Water Loss Number. This is required and must be unique.
Record the Incident Date and Incident Time of the water loss.
Select a Loss Type from the pick-list.
Use the other fields about the water loss incident and related investigation.
Click Save to save the record. The new record appears in the grid.

In the Work Water Loss module, select the Work Water Loss record that you would like to associate with a Work Order.
In the record's Work Orders grid, click the button. The following pop-up appears:
Select one or more Work Orders from the list and click Select. The system links the Work Water Loss record to the selected Work Orders.
- The linked Work Orders now appear in the selected Water Loss record's Work Orders grid.
- The Work Water Loss record appears in each selected Work Order's Water Loss grid.
