Industrial Pretreatment

The Industrial Pretreatment (IPT) modules help an agency track all aspects of its IPT program. An IPT program is designed to protect water quality by keeping pollutants discharged through industrial wastewater out of publicly-owned treatment works. Industrial pollutants can upset or inhibit water-treatment activities or be passed through the system into local rivers, lakes and streams.
