Threshold Library

The Threshold Library module is used to establish the limits or parameters that the results of an equipment test should fall within. These libraries can be loaded directly into an Equipment Inspection. The module consists of a Threshold Name field and a grid listing the group of thresholds.

To open the Threshold Library module, select Plant/Equipment > Threshold Library.

In the Threshold Library module click the button.
Fill out the Threshold Name. (required) This must be unique.
Click the button to save the record. The new record appears in the grid.

Open the Threshold Library module.
Select the library you want to add a threshold to.
Click the button to expand the record.
Select the Details grid and click the button. The Details form opens.
Enter a Name for the Threshold.
In the Field field, specify which field in the Equipment Inspection module the threshold is measured against.
Enter a Low and/or a High threshold.
If you want the system to send a notification when the parameter falls outside these thresholds, select a Notification in the Notification Label field.

Click the button to save the record.

Open the Details grid.
Click the button and select Load Threshold List. A prompt similar to the following appears, with a list of existing Threshold Library records:
Select a record from the list and click OK. The Detail records from the selected Threshold Library record are loaded into the grid.
