Lucity's Equipment modules track information about:
equipment attributes,
any inspections performed on the equipment, and
equipment readings.
Because equipment is a critical element of infrastructure management, the Equipment Inventory is integrated with multiple Lucity modules. The diagram below illustrates these relationships.
Module Relationships
A piece of equipment is assumed to have one unique location. Therefore, an Equipment asset may only be linked to one other Lucity asset.
Multiple pieces of Equipment can be attached to Sewer/Storm Pump Stations and Sewer/Storm Pumps.
Multiple pieces of Equipment can be attached to another Equipment record as dependent equipment.
Multiple Fluid and Material records from the Work Flow Setup module can be attached to a piece of Equipment.
Multiple Inspections, Warranties and Meter Readings can be attached to a piece of Equipment.
