The Equipment Readings module records meter readings and tracks historical readings from an hour meter or some other meter.
Users create a new record to log the current reading each time they read the meter. Each new record displays past meter readings and calculates the difference in usage.
Equipment Readings can be used:
to schedule preventative maintenance work orders (PMs),
to verify the warranty status of the equipment,
to set depreciation schedules, and
to determine whether the equipment should be replaced.
Common Tasks
To open the Equipment Readings module, select one of the following:
Select the equipment you want to add a reading to.
Click the button to expand the record.
Select the Readings grid and click the button. A new reading record is started with the Equipment ID field filled out using the ID for the associated equipment.

Open the Equipment Reading module.
Click the button. A new record appears
Enter or select a Equipment ID. (required)

Enter the Date (required).
The combination of Equipment ID and Date must form a unique combination.
Complete other fields as desired.
Click the button to save the record. The new reading record appears in the grid.
