Pipes

The Sewer Pipe modules give agencies the ability to track information regarding their sewer pipes and several types of related tests and inspections.

Below is a basic overview of the relationships between Pipes and other sewer assets:

• Each Pipe is defined by two end-points: Upstream (US) and Downstream (DS). These end-points can be Structures, Valves, Nodes, or Pump Stations.
• One or more Pipes can be related to Basins. Such pipes are considered basin outlets.
• Service Laterals can related to either a Pipe or a Structure.
• Service Connections can be related to a Service Lateral, as well as either a Pipe or a Structure.
• Multiple Pumps can be attached to a single Pump Station.

Note: The numbers and asterisks (*) in the diagram represent the number of records that can be part of the indicated relationship. For example, one (1) Service Connection record can be related to only one (1) Service Lateral record. But many (*) Service Connection records can be related to one (1) Sewer Pipe.
