The Notifications module lets users create templates for different types of system notifications. Using the Notification module helps keep employees up-to-date and customers informed. After Notification templates are set up in this module, other Lucity modules must be configured to use the templates.
Common Tasks
To open the Notification Setup module, select System Configuration > Notifications.
How to add an Email Notification
button. The Notification Setup form appears.Note: The designated recipients will receive this Notification EVERY TIME it is used—whether they are specified through the sending module or not.
Note: Many of the Lucity modules that send Email Notifications automatically determine the message recipient(s) based on module data; therefore, not every template must have a specified a Recipient List. However, a user can use the template's Recipient List field to identify people who wish to always receive a particular notification, regardless of the other recipients.
Note: To add another line into the Email Body section, press CTRL+Enter.

How to add a Text Message Notification

Note: When entering multiple email addresses, use a semi-colon (NOT a comma) between each address.
Note: All other fields will be grayed out, as they do not apply to this type of Notification.

How to add a Report-to-Printer Notification
