After administrators create GIS Views, they must assign the views to Lucity Security Groups to enable users in those groups to see them. Each Group can be given access to multiple GIS Views.
Note: The process described below only controls access to a GIS View; it does not determine which Web Map the GIS View displays. The map is configured separately.
Open a GIS View for editing.
In the Web Map, click the button. The Design Mode pop-up appears:
Select Assign Groups from the pop-up. The following screen appears.
The left side of the screen contains a list of availableLucity Security Groups. Type in a group name or search through this list.
The right side of the screen displays a list of the Lucity Security Groups that are currently assigned to the Map.
In the Available Groups list, locate the group you want to assign and click the Assign button. The group name is moved to the Assigned Groups column from the Available Groups column.
Repeat Step 4 to include other Groups.
Click Close when all assignments have been made.
Click Save on the Design Mode screen. All users in the selected groups now have access to the Lucity GIS View.
