Create Work Request

The Work Request tool allows users to generate multiple Work Requests based on a filterset or on records selected in the grid. The tool creates individual Work Requests for every record.

How To Create Work Requests

1.  Select one or more records in the grid that require a Work Request.
2. Click the button. If any of the selected records do not have a Default Work Category, the following pop-up appears:

   

3. Select a Category and click OK. The system creates separate Work Requests for each selected asset and launches the Work Request module. Each new Request identifies the appropriate Work Category, Asset Type and Asset ID.
