PM Header Data

The header fields in the PM/Work Template module contain general information used to identify, and describe each PM/work template. Some of the data is passed on to work orders created from the PM/template.

The header appears at the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the module's tabs.

  • A Scheduled PM is a set of pre-configured work order data that is configured to automatically create a new Work Order on a regular schedule.
  • Each scheduled pm creates a single work order with one or more assets attached to it.
  • Once the Scheduled PM box is marked and saved, the action cannot be undone.
  • The Scheduled PM box must be marked before the Grouped PM, Linked PM, or Grouped Asset boxes can be marked.

Grouped PM

Converts the Scheduled PM record to a Grouped PM.

  • A grouped PM is a single PM in which the user may designate a different schedule for each asset on the PM.

Grouped Assets

Converts a Grouped PM to a Grouped Assets PM.

  • A grouped asset PM is a grouped PM in which the user may group together the assets and designate a different schedule for each asset group on the PM.

Inactive

Tightly Linked PM

Converts the Scheduled PM to a Tightly Linked PM.

  • Tightly Linked PMs do not have a schedule. Instead, they are linked to a Scheduled PM and directed to replace the regularly scheduled PM at a certain interval. • Tightly Linked PMs must have the same assets as the related Schedule PM.

Affected PM
