How To Check for Warranties

The Check for Warranties feature enables users to check for any open Warranties linked to the asset record. It is only available for Fleet or Equipment assets.

1. Select the asset(s) in the grid.
2. Right-click and select Check for Warranties.  If the following conditions are met, the Open Warranty Notice will appear:
   • The asset has at least one active record in the Warranty table of the Fleet or Equipment record, and
   • The current system date is less than or equal to the warranty expiration date.

   

3. The window above displays any open warranties for the selected asset(s), plus additional warranty information.
