How To Populate Material Units

The Populate Material Units option allows a user to enter the amount of material used without having to open the Resource record. This is very useful when dealing with multiple records. For example, if you used the same amount of multiple materials to complete a task, you could follow the steps above and enter the amount used in the Units fields. The system would then apply that amount to all selected Resources without you having to edit each record.

Highlight the resource(s) in the Resources grid.
Right-click and select Populate Material Units. The following window will appear:
Enter the amount used in the Units field, or enter the estimated amount used in the Estimated Units field.
Click when finished.
