The Fleet program contains a set of modules related to Fleet assets. Fleet modules track items that measure usage by an odometer. Equipment modules track equipment that measure usage by an hourmeter or something other than an odometer. The other modules found in the Fleet program track information about the life of the vehicle or piece of equipment.
The Fleet and Equipment modules can be used in conjunction with the Work modules to automatically generate preventative maintenance work orders based on the equipment's recorded usage. The program also tracks the cost of labor and parts to complete the work orders. The parts used can then be linked to the Warehouse Parts Inventory module, which tracks the purchase and quantity of inventory items.
