How To Add a Part Warranty to a Vehicle

The Add Part Warranty to Vehicle tool is available when a Fleet record is attached to a Work Order as an asset. This option takes warranty information for the selected Material's Warranty Distance and Warranty Vendor Code fields and creates a Warranty record for the Fleet record.

How to Add a Part Warranty to Vehicle

1. Right-click on a Material in a Fleet Work Order.
2. Select Add Part Warranty to Vehicle. A new warranty record will open and several fields will be filled out automatically based on the work order, material, and fleet vehicle.
3. Save the Warranty record.
