Lucity's Raw Water Control Valves module stores location, inspection, and work order information about the valves in an agency's raw water system. Although this module can be used for all types of valves, it is designed to distinguish or separate pressure control valves from other valves.
Common Tasks
To access this module, select Water > Raw Water > Control Valves > Raw Control Valves.
Click the button to expand the Valve record to which you want to add an Inspection.
Select the Inspection grid and click the button. A new Inspection record appears with the selected Valve record's Valve Number.

Method 2: From the Raw Control Valves Inspection Module
Open the Raw Control Valves module.
Click the button. A new Inspection record appears.
Enter or select the Valve Number for the Raw Water Control Valve being inspected (required).

Enter the Inspection Date (required).
The combination of Valve Number and Inspection Date must form a unique combination.
If the valve was exercised during the inspection, check the Exercised box, enter the Exercised Date, and the Number of Turns used to exercise the valve.
Complete other fields as desired.
Check the Maintenance Requested or Needs Repair fields to automatically create a Lucity Request or Work Order for the valve.
Click the button to save the record. The new Inspection record appears in the grid.
Activates the Street Name Validation function. When active, any street name a user enters into the Address fields is checked against the Street Name List. If the name entered does not match a street in the list, the user cannot save the record.
