Filter Viewer

The Filter Viewer tool allows users to view a filtered set of Assets using filters that were saved in the Lucity Desktop application.

Module

Specifies the type of module associated with the filter (e.g., Inventory, Inspection, etc.).

Asset Type

Indicates the kind of Asset associated with the filter (e.g., Sewer Pipe, Water Hydrant).

Inspection Module

Specifies the Inspection module associated with the filter. (This field is enabled only if Inspection was selected as the Module).

Filters

Lists the Filters associated with the Module selected above.

If Inventory > Sewer Pipes is selected, all filters saved in the Sewer Pipe Inventory module will be displayed. When one of these filters loads, the filtered Sewer Pipe records will appear in the map.

If Inspection > Sewer Pipes > PACP Inspections is selected, all filters saved in the Sewer PACP Inspection module will be displayed. When one of these filters loads, Sewer Pipes related to the filtered Inspections will appear in the map.

My Filters Only

Limits the list of Filters displayed to only those created by the current user.

How To Load a Filter

  1. Select the Filter Viewer tool Filter viewer button. The Filter Viewer form appears:

  2. Select the Module associated with the filter:

    choose module

    filter asset type

    filter inspection module

  3. After specifying the module, the Filters grid displays all of the filters saved for that module. Check the My Filters Only option if you wish to limit the list to only those filters created by the current user.

  4. Highlight the desired Filter and click OK. Processing progress is displayed in the lower-right toolbar. When complete, a message appears to indicate the number of records found. The features are selected in the map, and the map zooms to all selected features.
