Users can search ArcMap for specific Assets quickly using the Lucity Search tool.
How To Find a Feature
Select an Asset Type from the drop-down list.
Only Asset Types for feature classes that are currently represented in the map appear in the drop-down list.
The All Asset Types option searches all feature classes linked to Lucity. The action does, however, take longer to process.
Enter the Asset ID (Facility ID) for the Asset and click Find.
Wildcards can be used in the search parameter.
Use * for any number of characters. For example, 1269*8 will find any feature whose ID starts with 1269 and ends with 8.
Use ? for a set number of characters. For example, 1269?8 will find any feature with an ID six characters in length that starts with 1269 and ends with 8.
When the search is complete, a dialog box appears to display the results of the search. If features that meet the search criteria are found, the map zooms to the features and selects them.
