PM Template

The PM/Template tool allows users to generate PM/Template records. Users can choose to create a PM/Template based on the filterset or on the records selected in the grid.

How To Create a PM/Template

1. Create a filter for the records that need a PM OR select all the records in the grid that need a PM.
2. Click the button. The following pop-up appears:

   

3. To create a PM click Create New. The following pop-up appears:

   

   • Under Create PM(s) for..., choose whether to create the PM for the Selected Record(s) OR for the FIltered Records.
   • Select a Category. (Click the Category button to view the category tree.)
   • Select a Main Task.
   • Click OK.
   • The system opens the default PM/Template view. If a default view does not exist, the system creates the PM/Template in the database, but it does not appear on screen. Instead, a notation appears above the grid to indicate that the operation succeeded.
4. To copy s PM click Copy Existing. The following pop-up will appear:

   

   • Click OK.
