The Create Subset tool is used to create a new subset of selected map features. Subsets enable users to group selected assets and save them for later use.
How To Create a Subset
Select Assets in the map. (Items are added to the subset in the order in which they are selected.)
OR
Using the current selection highlight the Assets in the data table.
Click . The following dialog box appears:
Choose Yes to add the highlighted assets to the subset. Choose No to add all of the selected assets in the current Data Table tab to the subset. After making a choice, the following dialog box appears:
Enter a name for the subset. By default, the program creates a name based on the asset type, date, and time.
Click OK. The program creates the subset and displays a message stating that it was created successfully.
