Subsegment Merge Process within Lucity Desktop

The following is an overview of the process that occurs within Lucity Desktop when Street Subsegments are merged:

• Creates a new subsegment record.
• Assigns attributes based on the details entered in the tool's dialog.
• Associates Documents from both subsegments to the new subsegment.
• Associates all Field Inspections to the new subsegment.
  • Recalculates Driveway Replacement Estimates, Sidewalk Replacement Estimates, and Overall Patching Estimates based upon the new Subsegment's length.
• Associates all Pavement Maintenance records to the new subsegment.
• Updates Work Orders.
  • Copies Asset/Task associations to the merged subsegment.
  • Associates any previous asset costs (AS_WOCOST and AS_UNASGNCOST) with one of the Subsegments.
• Updates Work Requests.
• Updates PM/Work Template records.
• Updates Master Project records.
