Subsegment Merge Process within Lucity Desktop
The following is an overview of the process that occurs within Lucity Desktop when Street Subsegments are merged:
- Creates a new subsegment record.
- Assigns attributes based on the details entered in the tool's dialog.
- Associates Documents from both subsegments to the new subsegment.
- Associates all Field Inspections to the new subsegment.
- Recalculates Driveway Replacement Estimates, Sidewalk Replacement Estimates, and Overall Patching Estimates based upon the new Subsegment's length.
- Associates all Pavement Maintenance records to the new subsegment.
- Updates Work Orders.
- Copies Asset/Task associations to the merged subsegment.
- Associates any previous asset costs (AS_WOCOST and AS_UNASGNCOST) with one of the Subsegments.
- Updates Work Requests.
- Updates PM/Work Template records.
- Updates Master Project records.
