The Generate Supersegment Features tool (on the Lucity GIS Edit toolbar) enables users to recreate Supersegment features in GIS based upon the Supersegments created in Lucity Desktop.
This tool is always active; however, to use it properly, the Supersegment, Segment, and Subsegment feature classes must be set up and linked to Lucity.
How To Generate a Supersegment in the Map
Start an edit session in ArcMap.
Optional step: Select the Supersegment(s) you wish to update in the map.
Click the Generate Supersegment Feature(s) tool on the Lucity GIS Edit toolbar.
The tool requires the system to save edits before and after generating the Supersegments. When prompted (example below), click Yes.
The Generate Supersegments form appears:
Choose a method for selecting the desired Supersegment(s):
Select from List- Choose a Supersegment(s) from the list on the right. Selected records will be recreated in the map.
Filter- Choose a filter from the Lucity Supersegment module from the list on the right. All Supersegments that meet the filter criteria will be recreated in the map.
All Records- Recreates all linked Lucity Supersegments in the map. (Note: This option will take some time to process.)
Currently Selected- Recreates the selected supersegments in the map. (This option is enabled only when a Supersegment is selected before clicking the Generate Supersegment Feature tool.)
