Defining Supersegment Process within Lucity Desktop

The following is an overview of the process that occurs within Lucity Desktop when a supersegment is defined:

• Creates a new Supersegment Inventory record (if the option was selected).
• Populates the Supersegment attributes.
  • Updates the Description, Group, Pavement and Classification Type fields.
• Disassociates existing Subsegments (if the option was selected).
• Associates selected Subsegments.
• Recalculates Supersegments that had Subsegments removed.
  • Recalculates the Length and Area of the Supersegment.
  • Recreates the Supersegment feature in the map.
• Calculates the Length and Area of the Supersegment.
