The following is an overview of the process that occurs within Lucity Desktop when a Street Subsegment is split:
Creates a new Subsegment Inventory record.
Populates the new Street Subsegment attributes.
Calculates the Length, Start/End Point, and Start/End Percentage.
Copies the Additional Area from the existing Subsegment.
Recalculates the Pavement and Total Area fields.
Updates the attributes of the existing subsegment:
Recalculates Length, Start/End Point, Start/end Percentage, Pavement Area, and Total Area.
Copies the remaining attributes from the existing Subsegment to the new Subsegment.
Associates any Documents with the new Street Subsegment.
Updates Field Inspections.
Creates copies of the Field Inspections associated with the existing Subsegment and associate the copied records with the new Subsegment.
Recalculate Driveway Replacement Estimates, Sidewalk Replacement Estimates, and Overall Patching Estimates based upon the new Subsegment's length.
Updates the Inspections associated with the existing Subsegment.
Recalculates Driveway Replacement Estimates, Sidewalk Replacement Estimates, and Overall Patching Estimates based upon the new length of the existing Subsegment.
Updates Pavement Maintenance records.
Creates copies of the Pavement Maintenance records associated with the existing Subsegment and associate the copied records with the new Subsegment.
Updates Work Orders.
Copies Asset/Task associations to the merged pipe.
Associates any previous asset costs (AS_WOCOST and AS_UNASGNCOST) with one of the subsegments.
