Merge Process within Lucity Desktop
The following is an overview of the process that occurs within Lucity Desktop when Sewer Pipes are merged:
- Creates a new Sewer Pipe record in the desktop application.
- Copies attributes to the new Pipe record.
- Associates Documents to the new Pipe record (if not archiving).
- Updates Address associations (CMADDR).
- Updates Basin (SWBASINOUT).
- Updates Flow Isolation (SWISONET).
- Updates Observation Manholes (SWOBSMAN).
- Updates Service Lateral Connections (SWSERV).
- Updates Pipe Curve (SWCURVE).
- If the Associate Inspections option is checked:
- Updates Smoke Tests and Observations.
- Updates Lamp Tests and Observations.
- Updates TV Inspections and Observations.
- Updates PACP Inspections and Observations.
- Updates Construction records (if option was checked).
- Updates Sewer Overflows (if option was checked).
- Updates Sewer Rehab records (if option was checked).
- Updates Elevations for the new Sewer Pipe.
- Upstream Elevation data comes from the pre-merged Upstream Pipe.
- Downstream Elevation data comes from the pre-merged Downstream Pipe.
- Updates Work Requests (if option was checked).
- Updates Work Orders (if option was checked).
- Copies Asset/Task associations to the merged pipe
- Recalculates AS_WOCOST and AS_UNASGNCOST
- Updates PM/Work Template records (if option was checked).
- Updates Master Project records (if option was checked).
- Archives or deletes pre-merged Pipe records (based upon archive option).
- Archives or deletes the Structure record (based upon the Archive option).
