At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

This field contains a number automatically generated by the system. |
Entity Type |
This field allows you to select a facilities entity from the pick list (i.e. Site, Building). To access the pick list, click the field caption button or press F9. |
Asset Code |
This field allows you to select an individual facilities asset from the pick list. To access the pick list, click the field caption button or press F9. Note: The assets available in the pick list will be limited by the type of entity chosen. |
Year |
This field is user-defined. Use this field to indicate the valuation year for the facilities asset in this record. |
Appraised Value Assessed Value |
These fields allow you to include monetary valuation amounts for the facility site or building in this record. |
Appraisal Change % |
This field automatically calculates the percentage of change between this year's appraised value and the previous year's record. To force this field to calculate or to recalculate this value, press F5 while your cursor is in this field. Example: If your 2005 Appraised Value = 5000 and your 2006 Appraised Value = 6200, the Appraisal Change % for 2006 will equal 24% (or 24.00). |
Note: You must include a unique combination of the Year, Entity Type, and Asset Code in order to save the record.
Note: If no previous Valuation record exists for the combination of this Entity Type and Asset Code, no Appraisal Change calculation will be done. In this situation, you will receive the following notification:
